Max Burkholder (born Max Henry Burkholder, July 30, 1997) is a child actor most noticeable for his role Max Braverman, who has Asperger Syndrome, in the NBC series Parenthood. Prior to that, he became known as a voice actor, among his many roles were those of Chomper in The Land Before Time television series based on film series of the same name. He also provides the voice of Roo on My Friends Tigger & Pooh (taking over the role from Jimmy Bennett), reprising the role for the forthcoming 2011 Disney animated movie and played "World", the imaginary friend inside a toybox in the Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends movie "Destination: Imagination".[1]

For Burkholder's role as Max Braverman on Parenthood, executive producer Jason Katims said, consultant Wayne Tashjian, a behavioral psychologist, looks at the script and meets with Burkholder and his mother about those scenes involving the Max character. Burkholder and his mother then practice the scenes by themselves. For special scenes, the show employs a second consultant to ensure accuracy.[2]
